We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, GST compliance, TDS processes, and financial data management. The candidate should be proficient in Tally, Excel, and comfortable coordinating via email with consultants and internal teams. Strong English communication skills are essential.
Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns accurately and within deadlines.
Maintain proper documentation and reconciliation for GST-related transactions.
Perform TDS working, ensure timely TDS payments, and file quarterly TDS returns.
Maintain updated TDS records and reconcile deductions.
Sync and record sales, refunds, expenses, and settlement data in Tally.
Match entries with supporting documents such as invoices and Excel sheets.
Ensure all accounting entries are accurate and up to date.
Coordinate with external consultants to receive, verify, and clarify accounting data.
Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain professional communication via email.
Record daily bank transactions, expense entries, and payment details in Tally.
Ensure proper categorization and reconciliation of accounts.
Maintain and update cash flow statements in Excel on a regular basis.
Prepare and maintain margin files in Excel for management review.
Handle all accounting communication via email professionally.
Maintain proper email records and follow up on pending information.
Basic to advanced knowledge of Tally ERP.
Good working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formatting, data validation preferred).
Understanding of GST and TDS processes.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with consultants.
