Accountant
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
Record daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and ledger postings.
Prepare bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and customer account reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare GST returns, TDS returns, and ensure statutory compliance.
Process payroll and maintain employee salary records.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Monitor cash flow and support financial planning.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable tax regulations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
CA Inter/CMA or relevant accounting certifications are preferred.
2–5 years of accounting experience (or as required).
Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP/accounting software.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and MS Excel.
