Job Title: Accountant

Job Description:

Photourja Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with at least 1 year of hands-on experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations and billing activities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with numbers, records, and spreadsheets, and should support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and records

• Handle billing activities, including:

  • Preparing and issuing invoices

  • Tracking payments and outstanding receivables

  • Maintaining billing records and client accounts

• Record and reconcile sales, purchases, expenses, and bank entries

• Assist in basic GST-related work such as invoice verification and data preparation

• Maintain proper documentation for vouchers, bills, and invoices

• Support monthly financial reporting and audits as required

• Coordinate with internal teams for payment follow-ups and financial clarifications

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a similar role

• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (data entry, formulas, basic reports)

• Understanding of basic accounting concepts, including:

  • Debit & Credit

  • Journal entries

  • Ledger maintenance

  • Trial balance basics

• Knowledge of billing and invoicing processes

• Attention to detail and good organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field

• Experience with accounting software (Tally or similar) is a plus

• Basic knowledge of taxation (GST) will be an advantage
