Position: Accountant
Industry: Logistics / Transportation
Experience: 2–5 Years
Location: Thoothukudi / Madathur, Tamil Nadu
Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
Maintain purchase, sales, expense, and payment records.
Prepare invoices, vouchers, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Maintain proper documentation for logistics-related expenses and bills.
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting activities.
Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams for payment and billing issues.
Prepare basic MIS reports and monthly accounting statements.
Ensure accurate and timely updating of accounting records.
Requirements
Any Degree / B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in logistics/transportation.
Good knowledge of Tally / ERP and MS Excel.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Candidates residing in or around Thoothukudi / Madathur preferred.
