Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Record purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Prepare and maintain bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
Prepare invoices and monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and account statements as required.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
Verify bills, invoices, expense claims, and supporting documents.
Monitor employee expenses and reimbursements.
Ensure timely payment of vendors and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
Maintain proper records of fixed assets and company expenses.
Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
Support management with financial data and reports for decision-making.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Accounting principles and practices.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation.
Hands-on experience with Tally Prime / accounting software.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
Experience in bank and ledger reconciliation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification.
3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Experience working with Indian statutory compliance will be preferred.
