Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a minimum of 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting management with timely financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

1.      Accounting & Bookkeeping

o    Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.

o    Handle day-to-day accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank transactions.

o    Ensure proper accounting treatment as per applicable accounting standards.

2.      Statutory Compliance & Taxation

o    Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, etc.) within due dates.

o    Handle TDS computation, deductions, and timely filing of TDS returns.

3.      Reconciliation & Controls

o    Perform regular bank reconciliations and vendor/customer ledger reconciliations.

o    Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for closures.

o    Ensure internal controls are followed and discrepancies are promptly addressed.

4.      Payroll & Compliance Support

o    Process payroll accounting, including salary entries, statutory deductions, and reconciliations.

o    Maintain compliance with PF, ESI, and other labor-related statutory requirements.

o    Support HR and management with payroll-related financial data.

Qualifications & Skills

·         Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; M.Com

·         Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.

·         Strong working knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.

·         Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI.

·         High attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.

Strong communication and coordination skills.
