An Accountant cum Computer Operator manages daily financial record-keeping, data entry, and routine office administrative tasks using accounting software and computer systems.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain daily cash books, ledgers, vouchers, and generate invoices or bills using software like Tally or ERP systems.
Data Entry: Accurately input financial and operational data, update purchase/sales entries, and manage digital records.
Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, spreadsheets, and basic MIS statements using MS Excel and MS Word.
Tax & Compliance Support: Assist with basic GST, TDS, or payroll documentation and statutory filing entries.
Office Administration: Handle emails, manage physical and electronic filing systems, and coordinate routine office correspondence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma (12th pass) or a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related fields.
Software Proficiency: Strong practical knowledge of Tally (ERP/Prime), MS Excel, and MS Word.
Core Competencies: Good typing speed, high attention to detail, basic numerical aptitude, and sound organizational skills.
Experience: 1 to 2+ years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or office administratio
