Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with a basic understanding of

accounting processes, including sales and purchase transactions, statutory

compliance, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and

capable of handling day-to-day accounting activities efficiently

Position: Accountant

Experience: 2 years

Education: B. Com

Key Responsibilities:

 Record and maintain sales and purchase transactions accurately in the

accounting system.

 Handle inventory accounting, including monitoring and resolving negative

inventory issues.

 Prepare and generate E-way bills in compliance with applicable regulations.

 Assist in GST (Goods and Services Tax) compliance, including basic return

preparation and data validation.

 Support TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations and related entries.

 Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of

financial records.

 Conduct ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

 Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and compliance.

 Coordinate with internal teams for transaction verification and corrections.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.

 Basic knowledge of GST and TDS regulations.

 Familiarity with E-way bill generation process.

 Understanding of inventory accounting concepts, including negative inventory.

 Knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation processes.

 Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar).

 Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
