Position Summary
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations,
reconciliation, statutory compliance support, and accurate financial record maintenance.
The role requires hands-on experience in accounting systems, inventory control, and
coordination with internal teams.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring
alignment between company books and bank statements and resolving
discrepancies promptly.
2. Maintain and reconcile stock and inventory records, including regular matching of
physical inventory with system records to minimize variances.
3. Prepare, issue, and process credit and debit notes, ensuring proper adjustment of
customer and vendor accounts.
4. Execute purchase booking and maintain accurate purchase records to support
procurement tracking and vendor payment processes.
5. Prepare and monitor sundry debtor and creditor reports, enabling effective follow-
up on outstanding balances and supporting healthy cash flow management.
6. Use Tally Prime and MS Excel for accounting entries, reconciliation, reporting, and
data analysis to improve accuracy and efficiency.
7. Handle TDS compliance, including deduction, timely deposit, reconciliation, filing
of TDS returns, and issuance of TDS certificates in line with statutory requirements.
8. Coordinate with finance, audit, and internal teams to support audits, internal
controls, and compliance with accounting standards.
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting
• Having 2-3 years related experience
• Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or similar role
• Working knowledge of Tally Prime, Excel, and accounting processes
• Understanding of TDS and basic statutory compliances
• Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, auditors, and internal teams
