ACCOUNTANT REQUIRED

Nerolac Paint Distribution & Retail Outlet – Lucknow

Position: Accountant
Experience: Minimum 1 Year
Location: Lucknow
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Complete day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping in Tally.

• Maintain sales and purchase entries accurately.

• Perform account matching and reconciliation with customers and suppliers.

• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and ensure timely follow-up for discrepancies.

• Handle bank reconciliation and routine accounting adjustments.

• Maintain proper records of receivables, payables, expenses and outstanding balances.

• Assist in BASIC GST, basic statutory accounting work

• Verify invoices, purchase bills, sales bills and supporting documents.

• Coordinate with the sales, purchase and management teams for accounting-related matters.

• Ensure all accounting records are updated and accurate on a daily basis.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.

• Basic to good knowledge of Tally is mandatory.

• Good understanding of sales, purchase, ledger, journal and accounting entries.

• Experience in account matching/reconciliation will be preferred.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel.

• Candidate should be accurate, responsible and comfortable working with numbers.

• Experience in paint, hardware, distribution or trading business will be an added advantage.
