Job Title: Real Estate Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Accountant to manage the financial operations of our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, experience in the real estate industry, and the ability to handle project accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts for real estate projects.

• Manage project-wise accounting, budgeting, and cost tracking.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Process vendor payments and maintain vendor ledgers.

• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.

• Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial analysis for management.

• Monitor customer collections, receipts, and outstanding balances.

• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.

• CA Inter, CMA, M.Com, or equivalent qualification is preferred.

• 4–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the real estate or construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and ERP/accounting software.

• Experience in project accounting and real estate financial processes.
