Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation, computation, and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, etc.)

• Ensuring timely GST compliance and adherence to statutory deadlines

• Handling GST notices, replies, and coordination with consultants when required

• Maintaining accurate books of accounts on Tally Prime

• Recording day-to-day accounting entries including sales, purchase, expenses, and bank transactions

• Reconciliation of GST, bank statements, and ledgers

• Assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing

• Maintaining proper documentation and records as per accounting standards

• Supporting audits and statutory compliance work

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience in GST preparation and filing

• Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime

• Good understanding of accounting principles and taxation

• Experience in GST reconciliation (GSTR-2B vs Purchase Register)

• Proficiency in MS Excel

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience working in a CA firm or corporate accounting role

• Familiarity with income tax basics and compliance

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
