Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Verify pricing, quantities, and discounts before invoicing
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable reconciliation
- Support monthly/quarterly closing activities
- Maintain daily cash/invoice reconciliation for walk-in sales
- Handle bank reconciliations
- Maintain stock registers for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Support senior team members during audits
- Record daily production output by shift/product line
- Track consumption of raw materials and consumables against production
- Flag variances between planned and actual material usage
- Coordinate with production/store staff to close daily data gaps same-day
- Track raw material, labour, and overhead inputs feeding into COGS
- Assist in monthly COGS computation and flag unusual cost movements
- Support senior accountants in product-wise costing and margin analysis Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience
- Working knowledge of Tally & Excel is a must
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and costing concepts (COGS,
Inventory evaluation, GAAP/Ind AS)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Accuracy under time pressure (especially for walk-in billing)
- Good communication skills
