Job Title: Accountant

Experience: 1–3 Years
Location: Chennai
Industry: Service / HVAC / Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounts and bookkeeping.

• Handle sales and purchase entries, receipts, and payments.

• Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and vouchers.

• Manage accounts receivable and payable.

• Bank reconciliation and cash/bank book maintenance.

• Assist in GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and compliance.

• Maintain proper accounts documentation and filing.

• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams for accounts-related matters.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Assist auditors and consultants during audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 1–3 years of experience in accounts.

• Knowledge of Tally / accounting software.

• Basic understanding of GST and statutory compliance.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.

• Good communication skills in English and Tamil.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred:

• Experience in service or engineering industry.

• Immediate joiners preferred.

Salary:

• As per industry standards (based on experience & interview)
