Accountant – Job Description
Position: Accountant
Department: Accounts & Finance
Experience: 2-5 Years
Location: Dhakoli, Zirakpur
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoices, receipts, and payments.
Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, expense, and bank records.
Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.
Manage GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements.
Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Coordinate with management, vendors, customers, and auditors when required.
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting activities.
Assist in budgeting, cash-flow tracking, and other financial activities.
Required Skills:
Good knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
Understanding of GST, TDS and basic taxation.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
