An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Key duties include maintaining ledgers, handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, GST/TDS filings, payroll processing, budgeting, and financial statement preparation. The role involves monitoring daily transactions, assisting in audits, and coordinating with internal departments and external agencies. Candidates should have strong knowledge of accounting software such as Tally or ERP systems, good analytical skills, and attention to detail. A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting is preferred, along with 2–5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting operations.
