Job Title: Accountant cum Floor In charge

Working Location: Bodakdev, Ahmedabad

Shift Timing: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM (with some flexibility as required)

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Responsibilities

• Handle daily sales entries and maintain accurate financial records.

• Manage cash, card, UPI, and POS-based transactions.

• Reconcile daily sales, prepare cash reports, and maintain petty cash.

• Maintain purchase records, vendor bills, and payment follow-ups.

• Assist in stock/inventory management for café and bookstore items.

• Coordinate with management for monthly financial reporting.

• Ensure compliance with basic accounting procedures.

Floor Management Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth functioning of café and bookstore floor operations.

• Welcome customers and assist with book selections.

• Manage café counter service and ensure good customer experience.

• Supervise staff and ensure cleanliness, display, and store ambience.

• Handle POS billing, order processing, and customer queries.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with kitchen/book suppliers.

• Handle customer complaints professionally.

• Manage store opening & closing procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or retail operations.

• Knowledge of POS and billing software is highly preferable.

• Basic understanding of accounting, invoicing, and cash handling.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage operations independently.

• Comfortable with 11 AM to 10 PM shift and flexible hours if needed.
