Prudent BV is a Netherlands-based accounting firm providing bookkeeping, accounting, and financial support services to international clients. The company conducts its operational activities from India through Finovora Global Private Limited, ensuring efficient financial management and client servicing support.
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Team Leader to lead our accounting operations team, manage client deliverables, and maintain high standards of financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Operations
Lead, supervise, and manage the accounting and bookkeeping team.
Allocate tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Train, mentor, and guide team members to maintain quality standards.
Coordinate between management, operations, and client stakeholders.
Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
Accounting & Bookkeeping Management
Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting processes including:
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Bank Reconciliation
General Ledger Management
Journal Entries
Financial Reporting
Month-end and Year-end Closures
Review accounting records and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial data.
Client Coordination
Handle communication with international clients professionally.
Understand client requirements and ensure quality service delivery.
Resolve operational issues and escalations efficiently.
Maintain strong client relationships and service standards.
Process & Compliance Management
Develop and improve operational workflows and SOPs.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and confidentiality requirements.
Monitor operational KPIs and reporting metrics.
Support process automation and efficiency improvements where applicable.
Eligibility Criteria
Mandatory Qualification
Only CA Final candidates (appeared/pursuing/completed) will be considered for this role.
Experience
4–8 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
Prior experience in team handling or leadership role is mandatory.
Experience working with international accounting clients will be preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
Hands-on experience with accounting software such as:
QuickBooks
Xero
Zoho Books
Exact Online (preferred)
Strong MS Excel and reporting skills.
Required Skills
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong communication and client coordination skills.
High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple client accounts effectively.
Professional approach and strong sense of accountability.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Exposure to Dutch or European accounting processes will be an added advantage.
