Job Description: Accountant

Position: Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts.

• Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, and reconciliations.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, and reconciliations).

• Ensure compliance with GST regulations and resolve GST-related queries.

• Deduct, deposit, and file TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).

• Reconcile TDS with Form 26AS and maintain TDS records.

• Prepare and assist in filing Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, or companies as applicable.

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.

• Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities during audits and assessments.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.

• Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and ITR compliance.

• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.

• Good understanding of Income Tax and GST laws.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent.

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting and taxation preferred.

• It is a Full Time అకౌంటెంట్ job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
