Job Summary:
An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the organisation's financial health. The role involves preparing financial statements, handling taxes, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and ledgers
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of transactions
Assist in budgeting and financial planning
Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with laws
Conduct internal audits and financial reviews
Monitor financial performance and report discrepancies
Maintain proper documentation for all financial activities
