Job Description – Accountant

Position: Accountant

Department: Finance & Accounts

Location: Punagam

Experience: 2.5 to 4 Years

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹28,000 per month

Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We Are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our dry-fruit. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting processes and hands-on experience with Mirecal software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.

• Manage sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal entries.

• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Prepare invoices, bills, vouchers, and other accounting documents.

• Perform bank and ledger reconciliation.

• Maintain proper records of expenses and financial transactions.

• Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.

• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.

• Prepare regular accounting reports and statements.

• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Handle accounting entries and maintain records in Mirecal software.

• Coordinate with internal teams regarding accounting and financial matters.

• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

• Assist management with financial data and reports whenever required.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Hands-on experience with Mirecal software.

Good knowledge of MS Excel.

• Knowledge of GST and TDS.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification:

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

• 2.5 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in the dry-fruit or trading industry will be an advantage.

• Experience handling purchase, sales, invoicing, payments, receipts, GST, TDS, and reconciliation.
