ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Accountant to independently manage day-to-day accounts, sales invoices, inventory records, purchases, vendor payments and GST-related work. The person will work closely with Sales, Operations and Service teams and maintain accurate records in Tally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enter daily battery pack and vehicle sales invoices in Tally and create/maintain sales orders.

• Maintain purchase and vendor records and process vendor payments after proper verification/approval.

• Maintain inventory of battery raw materials, vehicle materials, spare parts, service packs and machinery.

• Track incoming and outgoing materials/components and reconcile stock records.

• Handle routine online purchases required for battery and vehicle operations, including BMS and other components.

• Maintain service-pack accounts and field-sales bills and ensure timely recording.

• Process GST invoices and maintain GST records.

• Collect daily/weekly information from Sales, Operations and Service teams and update Tally.

• Reconcile accounts, sales and inventory data and prepare accurate information for the weekly management meeting.

• Maintain employee attendance and leave records and related documentation.

• Maintain office and routine administrative expense records.

• Identify discrepancies in accounts, sales or inventory and bring them to management's attention.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• 2–5 years of practical accounting experience with good working knowledge of Tally.

• Knowledge of GST, sales/purchase invoices, payments and basic reconciliation.

• Experience handling inventory/stock accounting and Excel.

• Good attention to detail, accuracy and documentation discipline.

• Comfortable coordinating with different departments and following up for information.

• Able to work independently and take ownership without constant supervision.

• Experience in manufacturing, automobile, EV, battery, electrical/electronics or spare-parts businesses is an advantage.

IMPORTANT

This is not only a data-entry accounting job. We need someone who can take ownership of the company's accounts, inventory and operational records, identify discrepancies and keep accurate information ready for management review.
