The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements. The role supports smooth financial operations and assists in budgeting, audits, and financial analysis.
Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
Support audits by providing required documents and explanations
Monitor expenses and help control costs
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments
Assist in payroll processing (if required)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Good communication and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Professional certifications (CA/CPA/ACCA – preferred, not always mandatory)
