The Role:

We are looking for a disciplined Accountant to lead our financial record-keeping and statutory compliance. This role is a blend of core accounting and operational finance, requiring you to handle everything from traditional Tally entries to the fast-paced billing cycles of Quick Commerce platforms.

Core Accounting Responsibilities

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, day-to-day books of accounts and ledgers using Tally.

Tax Compliance: Handle the end-to-end execution and filing of GST and TDS; ensure all statutory payments are made on time.

Audit & Taxation: Prepare documentation for income tax and coordinate directly with external auditors and tax consultants.

Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly financial statements, including P&L snapshots and cash flow reports.

Q-Commerce & Operational Tasks

Quick Commerce Billing: Manage and reconcile high-volume billing for platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, and BigBasket; ensure platform payouts match sales invoices.

PO Management: Generate, track, and close Purchase Orders (POs) while ensuring vendor invoices are accurately recorded.

Mail Management: Act as the primary gatekeeper for the finance inbox—managing professional correspondence with vendors, banks, and tax authorities.

Data Accuracy: Ensure 100% precision in documentation to prevent revenue leakage in the supply chain.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com).

Software Proficiency: Expert in Tally Prime/ERP 9 and highly skilled in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Experience: 1–3 years in a similar role; prior experience in eCommerce or FMCG accounting is a major plus.

Soft Skills: Strong professional email etiquette and a high level of attention to detail.

Primary Performance Metrics (KPIs)

1) Tax Compliance - Timely filing of GST filings.

2) 100% accuracy in Q-Commerce payout matching.

3) Turnaround time for PO generation and invoice verification.

4) Real-time update of Tally entries (no backlog).
