Accountant Position Department Accountant Finance & Accounts Location Reporting To Hyderabad Management / Finance Head Employment Type Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities for an EV charging station business. The candidate will maintain accurate records, monitor station-wise revenue and expenses, handle billing and reconciliations, and support statutory and management reporting. Key Responsibilities  Maintain day-to-day books of accounts, vouchers, receipts, payments and journal entries.  Record and reconcile EV charging station revenue, expenses and operational transactions.  Prepare station-wise monthly revenue and expense report.  Reconcile charging transactions received through CMS, CPO/eMSP platforms and payment gateways.  Track electricity bills, charger operating expenses, rentals, maintenance and other site expenses.  Prepare sales invoices, purchase invoices, debit/credit notes and supporting documents.  Verify vendor bills and maintain vendor/customer ledgers and outstanding statements.  Handle bank reconciliation and cash/bank transaction recording.  Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.  Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements and coordinate with consultants when required.  Maintain proper documentation for quotations, purchase orders, agreements, invoices and payments.  Support monthly closing, MIS preparation and management reporting.  Identify accounting discrepancies and coordinate with operations/management for resolution.  Maintain confidentiality and ensure timely and accurate financial records. EV Charging Business – Specific Responsibilities  Monitor charger-wise and location-wise charging revenue and transaction reports.  Reconcile kWh/energy consumption, charging sessions and revenue with CMS/platform reports.  Track settlements from roaming partners, eMSPs, CPOs and payment platforms.  Prepare reconciliation statements for transaction, settlement and commission differences.  Coordinate with operations teams regarding charger downtime, refunds, failed transactions and disputed settlements. Required Qualifications  Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.  Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.  Working knowledge of GST and TDS is preferred.  Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or similar ERP/accounting systems.  Good communication, analytical and reconciliation skills. Experience  1–3 years of experience in accounting/finance roles preferred.
