Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of Omkareshwar Ashram. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent accuracy, and the ability to work responsibly in a structured environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, cash books, and petty cash management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry in Tally/Accounting software.
• Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments for billing, documentation, and financial queries.
• Assist in audits and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Maintain transparency and confidentiality of ashram finances.
• Support management in budgeting and expense monitoring.
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in Tally and Advanced Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and taxation.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and integrity.
