Job description:

A Senior Accountant at a resort like Regenta Baywatch Goa manages daily accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance (GST/TDS). Key duties include reconciling accounts, managing AP/AR, preparing MIS reports, supervising payroll, and coordinating with auditors to ensure accurate financial records and operational efficiency

ore Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate, timely books of accounts in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with MIS reports, budgets, and variance analysis.

Taxation & Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage vendor payments, account reconciliations, and bank statement reconciliations.

Payroll & Cash Management: Process employee payroll, PF, ESI, and monitor petty cash.

Coordination: Collaborate with department heads for budget tracking and assist with internal/external audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, Tally is must

Knowledge: Strong understanding of local taxation laws.

Competencies: Attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure

Location: Based in Colva/Sernabatim, South Goa
