Key Responsibilities

GST (Goods and Services Tax)

Prepare and file GST returns such as GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation
Ensure accurate recording of GST transactions (sales, purchases, input tax credit)
Reconcile GST data with books of accounts regularly
Handle GST compliance, notices, and departmental queries
Maintain proper documentation for GST audits
Monitor changes in GST laws and implement updates

TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)

Deduct TDS as per applicable sections of the Income Tax Act
File TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.) on time
Generate and issue Form 16 / Form 16A
Reconcile TDS with Form 26AS / TRACES portal
Handle TDS assessments, notices, and corrections

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of GST and TDS laws in India
Familiarity with accounting software
1-2 years of experience in relevant field
