Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.
Record daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
Perform regular bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist with preparation of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, cash-flow reports, and MIS reports.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on pending payments.
Assist in budgeting, cash-flow management, and financial analysis.
Ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Support GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements, where applicable.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
Assist with internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
Identify accounting discrepancies, investigate variances, and make necessary corrections.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial information.
Support management with financial information and other accounting-related requirements.
Key Skills :
Accounting knowledge – Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial statements.
Practical experience – Hands-on experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP/AR, and month-end closing.
Tax & compliance knowledge – Relevant knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory requirements.
Software proficiency – Experience with Excel and relevant accounting/ERP software.
Accuracy – Ability to identify discrepancies and maintain error-free financial records.
Analytical ability – Ability to interpret financial data and investigate variances.
