Job Opening: Accounts Executive (Construction Background)

Job Description:

Abros Architects is looking for a dedicated and experienced Accounts Executive with a strong background in the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, GST compliance, vendor coordination, and construction-related financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities including payments, receipts, expenses, and cash/bank entries.

• Coordinate with material suppliers and shops to call, follow up, and collect bills regularly.

• Maintain and update GST records, purchase registers, sales registers, and expense records.

• Prepare and share required financial data with the Chartered Accountant (CA) and coordinate for GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.

• Have working knowledge of construction BOQs, measurements, and material accounting.

• Prepare Quotations, Purchase Orders (POs), and Work Orders as required.

• Handle bank-related work including deposits, withdrawals, cheque submissions, and follow-ups.

• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of accounts.

• Maintain proper documentation of site-wise and project-wise expenses.

Job Requirements:

• Must have worked in the construction field (this is mandatory).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction accounting.

• Educational qualification: B.Com / M.Com / Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance.

• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and construction-related accounting practices.

• Familiarity with accounting software (Tally / ERP) and MS Excel.

• Ability to coordinate with vendors, site engineers, and consultants.

• Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and good communication abilities.
