Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented candidate with a strong understanding of Accounting, GST, and Income Tax compliance. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and related financial documentation independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting entries in the system.

• Prepare and review financial statements and reconciliations.

• Handle GST compliance including:

  • Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

  • Reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase records

  • GST payment working and compliance review

• Manage Income Tax compliance including:

  • TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing

  • Preparation of income tax-related data and reports

• Assist in audit-related documentation and coordination.

• Maintain proper records of invoices, vouchers, and statutory documents.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Accounting principles.

• Good understanding of GST provisions and return filing procedures.

• Working knowledge of Income Tax and TDS provisions.

• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / ERP systems preferred).

• Good command over MS Excel.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Equivalent qualification.

• Prior experience in accounting and taxation field will be an added advantage.
