We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant cum Data Entry Operator to handle day-to-day accounting, data entry, billing, documentation, and general office work related to our transport and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial entries.
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, receipts and payment records.
Enter and update data accurately in Excel and accounting software.
Maintain customer and transporter/vendor records.
Reconcile accounts and check outstanding payments.
Handle transport-related documentation and records.
Assist with GST-related data and documentation.
Maintain proper filing of invoices and other documents.
Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal staff when required.
Perform other routine office and accounting tasks.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience with Tally / accounting software will be preferred.
Good typing and data-entry skills.
Basic knowledge of GST, invoicing and e-way bills is an advantage.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
