Job Description: Senior Accountant

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 5–7 years of experience to join our finance team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate tax compliance, and maintaining the integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage end-to-end accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and accurate recording of financial transactions (purchases, sales, expenses, and receipts).

• Taxation & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations. Handle the preparation and filing of tax returns, and assist in GST reconciliation.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and finalize financial statements, including Profit & Loss accounts and Balance Sheets. Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Audit Support: Coordinate with auditors, manage internal/external audits, and maintain all necessary documentation.

• Bank & Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers to ensure accuracy.

• Financial Analysis: Assist in cash flow management, budget tracking, and providing financial insights to management.

Technical Skills Required:

• Core Software: Proficiency in Tally (Tally Prime/ERP 9) is mandatory. Familiarity with other accounting software (e.g., Busy) is a plus.

• Office Tools: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) for data analysis and reporting.

• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, tax returns, taxation (VAT/Sales Tax), audit processes, and cash flow management.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: 5–7 years of proven experience in a similar Senior Accountant role.

• Education: Graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field).

• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills.

• Location: Ability to work from the office in Gurgaon (Sector 37 or Golf Course/DLF area).
