Accounts Trainee / Article Assistant (0–2 Years Experience)

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Basic accounting entries in Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, or similar accounting software.

• Preparation and updating of sales, purchase, bank, and cash books.

• Bank reconciliation and customer/vendor ledger reconciliations.

• Assisting in monthly bookkeeping and accounting finalization.

• Preparation of basic GST workings and reconciliation statements.

• Assisting in GST return data preparation and filing activities.

• Assisting in TDS deduction workings, payments, and return preparation.

• Collection, verification, and organization of client documents and records.

• Physical and digital filing of accounting, tax, and compliance documents.

• Preparation of basic MIS reports, schedules, and working papers.

• Coordination with clients for pending information and documents.

• Assisting in statutory audits, tax audits, and other professional assignments.

• Working on MCA, Income Tax, GST, and other government portals as required.

• Learning and applying accounting, taxation, and compliance provisions under supervision.

• Any other accounting, taxation, compliance, or administrative work assigned by the Firm from time to time.

Desired Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

• Working knowledge of Tally and Microsoft Excel.

• Good communication and follow-up skills.

• Willingness to learn accounting, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and compliance work.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
