Job Description

The Yogshala Clinic is looking for an experienced Yoga Instructor / Yoga Therapist who has strong practical knowledge of Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and Therapeutic Yoga, along with working knowledge of Panchkarma and Ayurvedic therapies.

The candidate should be comfortable working with patients and wellness clients and should be able to conduct both individual and group yoga sessions according to their health condition, age and wellness requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group Yoga sessions for patients and wellness clients.

• Teach Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation, Relaxation Techniques and Yogic Kriyas.

• Conduct Therapeutic Yoga sessions according to patient requirements and doctor's guidance.

• Assess basic mobility, flexibility and individual yoga requirements before sessions.

• Prepare customized yoga routines for different age groups and wellness needs.

• Assist patients with yoga for stress management, weight management, flexibility, posture and general wellness.

• Coordinate with Ayurvedic doctors/consultants regarding patient therapy plans.

• Maintain patient/session schedules and basic progress records.

• Explain exercises and precautions clearly to patients.

• Ensure correct posture, breathing techniques and safe yoga practices.

• Support the clinic's integrated Yoga + Ayurveda + Panchkarma wellness programs.

Panchkarma Knowledge Required

The candidate should have basic/practical understanding of Panchkarma and Ayurvedic therapies such as:

Abhyanga | Shirodhara | Swedana | Kati Basti | Janu Basti | Greeva Basti | Nasya Assistance | Udvartana | Potli/Patra Pinda Sweda

The candidate should be capable of assisting in Panchkarma therapies when required. Candidates having hands-on Panchkarma therapy experience will be given preference.

Qualification

Any of the following qualifications may be considered:

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Yoga | Diploma in Yoga | PG Diploma in Yoga Therapy | Certified Yoga Instructor/Therapist | BNYS

Additional Panchkarma/Ayurveda Therapy certification or practical training will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for someone who is not limited to conducting general yoga classes. The candidate should understand the difference between general Yoga and patient-oriented Therapeutic Yoga and should be comfortable working in an Ayurveda/Panchkarma clinic environment.

A polite, patient-friendly personality, good communication skills and professional grooming are important for this position.
