Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Sr Analyst I Infrastructure Services-RR-0378980 Job Description: Provide 24x7 production database support (rotational shifts and on-call support). ○ Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Database environments. ○ Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning. ○ Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN. ○ Manage database security, user roles, and privileges. Troubleshoot database-related incidents and resolve within SLA. ○ Support high availability solutions such as Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and standby databases. ○ Perform regular health checks and preventive maintenance. ○ Participate in DR drills and ensure disaster recovery readiness. ○ Coordinate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors. ○ Maintain documentation of configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting steps. • Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration (11g/12c/19c or higher). • Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and recovery. • Experience in Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments. • Knowledge of performance tuning (AWR, ASH reports, SQL tuning). • Experience with database patching and upgrades. • Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Experience in handling production incidents in a 24x7 support model.
