Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, disciplined, and field-oriented Security Supervisor / Field Officer to manage security guards and manpower deployed across multiple client sites. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper attendance, discipline, deployment, client coordination, site inspections, briefing of guards, and resolving day-to-day operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
Manpower & Guard Management
Supervise security guards and manpower deployed at various client sites.
Ensure proper deployment as per approved manpower requirements.
Maintain discipline, punctuality, grooming, and professional conduct of guards.
Monitor guard performance and take corrective action wherever required.
Attendance & Deployment
Ensure 100% attendance and proper duty coverage at all assigned sites.
Maintain daily attendance records and verify attendance of deployed guards.
Arrange relievers/replacements for guards who are absent or on approved leave.
Ensure no post remains vacant due to absenteeism or sudden leave.
Coordinate emergency manpower arrangements whenever required.
Site Visits & Inspection
Conduct regular and surprise visits to assigned client sites.
Check guard turnout, uniform, alertness, attendance, registers, and overall discipline.
Ensure guards are performing duties according to the site SOP and client instructions.
Identify security gaps and immediately report them to the management.
Site Briefing & Training
Conduct regular site briefings for security guards.
Explain post duties, SOPs, emergency procedures, access control, visitor management, and other client-specific instructions.
Ensure newly deployed guards receive proper site orientation before taking charge.
Client Coordination & Relationship Management
Maintain professional communication and good working relationships with clients.
Attend client meetings and discuss operational requirements.
Understand and resolve client complaints and day-to-day operational issues promptly.
Take client feedback and ensure necessary corrective action.
Escalate major issues to senior management without delay.
Problem Solving & Incident Management
Handle and resolve manpower, attendance, discipline, and deployment-related issues.
Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
Prepare and submit incident reports whenever required.
Coordinate with management, guards, and clients during emergency situations.
Salary & Payment Coordination
Coordinate with guards regarding salary and payment-related matters.
Assist in payment/salary collection and distribution as per company procedure.
Maintain proper records of payments and acknowledge receipts wherever applicable.
Report salary/payment-related issues to the accounts or management team.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain site-wise manpower and attendance records.
Submit daily/weekly field reports to management.
Maintain records of leave, replacements, absenteeism, site visits, complaints, and incidents.
Ensure all required registers and operational documents are properly maintained.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist management during new site mobilization.
Support recruitment and verification of suitable guards when required.
Monitor guard availability for upcoming shifts.
Ensure proper handover and takeover between shifts.
Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
Perform any other operational duties assigned by senior management.
Required Skills & Qualities
Good communication and client-handling skills.
Strong leadership and manpower management ability.
Good knowledge of security guard duties and site operations.
Ability to handle pressure and resolve field-level problems.
Good discipline, punctuality, and professional attitude.
Basic knowledge of WhatsApp, attendance systems, and reporting.
Willingness to travel between multiple client sites.
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to operational emergencies when required.
Preferred Candidate
Experience: 2–5 years in security services, facility management, field operations, or manpower management.
Experience as a Security Supervisor / Field Officer / Security Incharge will be preferred.
Valid driving licence and two-wheeler preferred.
