Job Description – Security Supervisor (Ex-Servicemen)

About SKIPS University
SKIPS University is looking for a disciplined, experienced, and responsible Ex-Serviceman to supervise security operations across its university campus and hostel. The Chairman of SKIPS University is a retired Army Colonel.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the security team deployed at the university campus and hostel.
- Ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, visitors, and university property.
- Monitor security guards, duty rosters, shift allocation, attendance, and deployment.
- Ensure proper entry and exit procedures for students, staff, visitors, and vehicles.
- Conduct regular security rounds and monitor CCTV surveillance and access-control procedures.
- Maintain security registers, incident reports, visitor records, and daily duty reports.
- Handle emergencies, security incidents, and disciplinary situations promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the Administration and HR Departments regarding security-related matters.
- Ensure discipline, punctuality, alertness, and professional conduct among security personnel.
- Implement security protocols and emergency response procedures.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Must be an Ex-Serviceman from the Indian Army or another eligible defence service.
- Preference for candidates who have retired as Subedar, Subedar Major, or equivalent rank.
- Relevant experience in security supervision, personnel management, or security administration.
- Strong leadership, discipline, communication, and team-management skills.
- Ability to manage security operations across the campus and hostel.
- Physically fit, alert, responsible, and capable of handling emergency situations.
- Familiarity with security procedures, visitor management, and incident reporting.
