Job Description

Job Summary

The Security Screener is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers, baggage, cargo, airport staff, and airport premises by conducting security screening activities in accordance with aviation security regulations and airport standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct screening of passengers, cabin baggage, checked baggage, cargo, and airport personnel using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening equipment.

Identify prohibited or suspicious items and take appropriate action as per security protocols.

Monitor security checkpoints and ensure compliance with airport security procedures.

Perform physical searches and secondary screening when required.

Verify passenger travel documents and boarding passes at designated checkpoints.

Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.

Prepare and maintain security screening records and incident reports.

Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, and law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Ensure adherence to aviation security guidelines issued by regulatory authorities.
