A Security Guard is responsible for protecting people, property, and premises by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol assigned areas regularly
Control entry and exit of visitors, staff, and vehicles
Check identification and maintain visitor logs
Observe and report suspicious activities
Respond to emergencies and security incidents
Ensure safety rules and procedures are followed
Assist employees and visitors when needed
Report incidents to supervisors or authorities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Alert and attentive mindset
Good communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods
Honest, disciplined, and responsible
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous security or guard experience
Basic education (10th/12th pass preferred)
Training or certification in security (if required)
Work Environment:
Offices, schools, hospitals, malls, factories, or residential areas
Day or night shifts may be required
