The Security Supervisor is responsible for safeguarding the physical assets, personnel, and infrastructure of the villa community during the construction phase. This role focuses on preventing theft of building materials, managing site access for laborers and vendors, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed to mitigate liability.
1. Access Control & Perimeter Security
Gate Management: Oversee the entry and exit points for all vehicles, machinery, and personnel.
Log Maintenance: Ensure rigorous documentation of all deliveries (steel, cement, fixtures) and verify against purchase orders.
Labor Tracking: Manage the check-in/check-out process for various subcontractors to ensure only authorized workers are on-site.
2. Asset Protection
Material Guarding: Implement 24/7 surveillance of high-value storage areas (copper wiring, appliances, timber).
Patrol Oversight: Conduct regular site rounds to identify "blind spots" or breaches in the perimeter fencing.
Loss Prevention: Investigate any discrepancies in inventory or reported thefts immediately.
3. Safety & Compliance
HSE Integration: Work closely with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) officer to ensure workers are wearing proper PPE (hard hats, vests).
Fire Safety: Monitor for fire hazards, especially near welding zones or chemical storage.
Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact for medical emergencies or site accidents.
4. Team Leadership
Guard Supervision: Manage a team of security guards, including scheduling, briefing, and performance monitoring.
Incident Reporting: Draft detailed daily reports and incident logs for the project management team.
