POTENTIAL SECURITY ROLES

· Security Guard / Security Officer

· Building, Residential & Apartment Security Guard

· Hotel, Resort & Hospitality Security Guard

· Office, Corporate & Business-Park Security Guard

· Gate Security / Access-Control Guard

· CCTV / Control-Room Operator (where qualified and required)

· Event Security Guard (subject to required local approval and training)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Monitor entrances and exits; verify visitor and contractor access according to site procedures.

· Conduct patrols and observe unusual activity, safety hazards or security concerns.

· Maintain visitor logs, incident reports, handover notes and required records.

· Follow site security procedures and report incidents promptly to a supervisor or authorised emergency services.

· Help protect people, property, equipment and confidential information.

· Support emergency response and evacuation procedures within the scope of training and authority.

· Operate access-control systems, radios or CCTV equipment when trained and assigned.

· Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, alertness and confidentiality throughout the shift.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

· Previous security guard or related experience is preferred; exact requirements depend on the employer.

· Physically fit, alert and able to stand, walk or patrol for extended periods as required.

· Good conduct and a background suitable for security work; verification may be required.

· Basic spoken English is useful; requirements depend on the site. Additional languages can be an advantage.

· Ability to read basic instructions, maintain records and follow site rules.

· Professional appearance, discipline, reliability and willingness to work scheduled shifts, nights, weekends or holidays.

· Must meet destination-country medical fitness, immigration, employer and security requirements.
