Security Guard / Society Security Personnel
The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and order of the co-operative housing society premises, residents, visitors, and property. The role includes access control, surveillance, and coordination with society management.
Guard society entrances and exits at all times
Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activity
Conduct regular patrols of the society premises, including common areas, parking, and periphery
Ensure gates, doors, and security systems are properly secured
Verify and record the entry and exit of visitors, delivery personnel, and service staff
Maintain visitor entry registers or digital access systems
Guide visitors politely and ensure they follow society rules
Prevent unauthorised entry into the premises
Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or security threats.
Inform the society office, supervisor, or committee members immediately in case of incidents.
Assist residents during emergencies and evacuations if required
Follow emergency and fire safety procedures
Maintain daily duty logs and incident reports
Report maintenance or safety issues (e.g., broken lights, damaged gates)
Coordinate with other security guards, housekeeping staff, and society management
Maintain alertness, discipline, and professional behaviour at all times
Wear the prescribed uniform and identity badge
Follow society rules, bylaws, and instructions from authorised persons
Security Supervisor / Society Manager / Secretary / Managing Committee
Shift-based duty (day/night/rotational)
Weekly off as per society policy
Minimum education: Basic reading and writing ability
Prior security experience preferred
Physically fit and alert
Police verification and background check mandatory
Training in security procedures or firefighting preferred
Full-time ( directly employed)
