The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, visitors, and assets. The role includes monitoring, patrolling, reporting, and responding to security-related incidents in a professional manner.
Maintain secure premises by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
Permit entry of authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles after proper verification.
Record daily events, incidents, movement of materials, and visitors in the security register.
Protect company property and assets against theft, vandalism, fire, and other risks.
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances immediately.
Maintain discipline and enforce rules and regulations within the premises.
Conduct regular checks of fire safety equipment, CCTV cameras, and perimeter areas.
Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security violations to the supervisor or site in-charge.
Assist during emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or evacuations.
Ensure proper handover/takeover during shift changes.
Maintain uniform, grooming standards, and professional behavior at all times.
Prior experience in security services preferred, but not mandatory for fresher candidates.
Basic knowledge of security procedures and safety practices.
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
Good communication skills and disciplined behavior.
Ability to handle stressful or emergency situations calmly.
Should be punctual, loyal, and trustworthy.
Must follow company policies and instructions from supervisors.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
