Position Title: Security Guard

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.

• Conduct regular patrolling of premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions.

• Check and secure doors, windows, gates, and equipment after working hours.

• Operate security systems such as CCTV, alarm panels, and access control systems.

• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances and report incidents to supervisors.

• Ensure safety procedures are followed during emergencies like fire, accidents, or evacuation.

• Maintain daily activity logs, incident reports, and visitor registers.

• Assist employees and visitors with directions and general information.

• Inspect bags, materials, and vehicles at entry/exit points when required.

  • Ability to remain calm and act quickly in stressful situations.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic knowledge of security equipment (CCTV, scanners, alarms).

  • Physically fit with the ability to stand/walk for long hours.

  • Integrity, reliability, and high sense of responsibility.
