Job Purpose

The Security Guard is responsible for protecting people, property, buildings, and important materials. The guard must remain alert and follow all company and client instructions.

Main Duties

• Check people and vehicles entering and leaving the premises.

• Protect the building, property, equipment, and materials.

• Maintain discipline and security at the assigned location.

• Monitor CCTV cameras, if required.

• Record visitors, vehicles, and important incidents in the register.

• Conduct regular rounds of the premises.

• Report any suspicious activity, theft, damage, or emergency immediately.

• Control access to restricted areas.

• Support visitors and provide basic information politely.

• Follow fire safety and emergency procedures.

• Work according to the duty shift assigned by the company.

• Wear a clean and proper uniform while on duty.

• Follow the instructions of the site supervisor and client representative.

Required Skills

• Good observation and alertness.

• Honest, responsible, and disciplined nature.

• Basic communication skills.

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

• Ability to work in day or night shifts.

• Basic reading and writing ability.

• Previous security experience will be an advantage.

Eligibility

• Minimum age: 18 years.

• Physically fit and medically healthy.

• Police verification may be required.

• Valid identity and address documents must be submitted.

• Security training certificate is preferred, if available.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary will be provided according to experience, duty location, and company policy.

• Duty uniform will be provided as per company rules.

Reporting

The Security Guard will report to the Site Supervisor and follow the instructions of P.R.H Security Guard Services Private Limited and the client organization.
