Job Summary
The Security Operations Executive – CCTV Monitoring is responsible for real-time monitoring of city-wide surveillance systems, identifying security incidents, ensuring public safety, and coordinating with relevant authorities for timely response. The role involves continuous observation of CCTV feeds, incident reporting, escalation management, and maintaining operational effectiveness within the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC).
Key Responsibilities
CCTV Monitoring & Surveillance
Monitor multiple CCTV cameras installed across the Smart City infrastructure.
Detect and report suspicious activities, security breaches, traffic violations, accidents, crowd gatherings, and emergency situations.
Ensure uninterrupted surveillance coverage and immediately report camera failures or technical issues.
Track incidents through video monitoring and provide accurate information to concerned departments.
Incident Management
Identify and assess security-related incidents in real time.
Escalate incidents to law enforcement agencies, emergency services, traffic control teams, or relevant city authorities.
Maintain detailed records of incidents, actions taken, and resolution status.
Coordinate with field teams during emergencies and crisis situations.
Video Analysis & Reporting
Review recorded footage as required for investigations and incident verification.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly surveillance reports.
Prepare event logs and maintain audit trails of all incidents.
Support data collection and evidence preservation for investigations.
Command Center Operations
Operate video management systems (VMS), CCTV software, and surveillance dashboards.
Monitor alarms, alerts, and integrated security systems.
Ensure compliance with Smart City surveillance protocols and SOPs.
Assist in disaster management and emergency response activities.
Coordination & Communication
Communicate effectively with police departments, municipal authorities, emergency response teams, and other stakeholders.
Provide timely updates to supervisors regarding critical incidents.
Participate in shift handovers and operational briefings.
