Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Route Guard to patrol a designated OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) route of approximately 120 km. The primary objective is to ensure the security and integrity of the fiber network infrastructure by preventing and reporting any potential or actual damages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly patrol the assigned 120 km fiber route as per the schedule.

• Monitor the route for any signs of damage, tampering, or unusual activity.

• Immediately inform the supervisor and the fiber maintenance team of any issues or potential threats.

• Take preventive actions to secure the fiber cable route.

• Maintain basic daily logs and reports related to patrol and incidents.

• Act as a point of contact for field-level issues concerning the OFC route.

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to travel long distances on foot or by vehicle.

• Reliable and responsible with a proactive approach to fieldwork.

• Basic communication skills to report incidents clearly and effectively.

• Prior experience in field surveillance or guarding roles (preferred but not mandatory).

• Willing to work in outdoor and sometimes remote environments.
