Security Guard

Security guards are responsible for protecting personnel, property, and assets by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring surveillance, controlling access, and patrolling premises. Key duties include detecting suspicious activity, responding to emergencies/alarms, enforcing safety protocols, and reporting incidents to law enforcement.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Access Control and Visitor Management: Monitoring entry/exit points, checking credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and managing security badges to prevent unauthorized entry.

• Patrolling and Surveillance: Conducting regular foot or vehicle patrols of the premises to inspect doors, windows, and gates. Using CCTV cameras and monitoring systems to detect disruptions or unlawful acts.

• Incident Response and Reporting: Promptly responding to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances. Documenting daily activities, incidents, and maintenance issues in comprehensive, detailed reports.

• Safety and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Identifying safety hazards, such as blocked exits or fire hazards.

• Conflict Management and Security: Detaining trespassers or violators until law enforcement arrives. Providing security during special events, protecting VIPs, and, in some cases, managing crowd control.

• It is a Full Time Security Guard job for candidates with 6 months - 4 years of experience.
