Lead Automation Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end planning, design, implementation, and commissioning of security automation systems for new and existing projects. Take ownership of all security automation solutions deployed at sites, ensuring seamless functionality and reliability. Manage Access Control Systems (ACS), Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS), Facial Recognition Systems (FRS), and CCTV/Video Surveillance Systems. Design, integrate, and optimize multiple security platforms into a unified and centralized security ecosystem. Coordinate surveillance architecture and ensure efficient routing, recording, and monitoring of camera feeds at the Security Operations Center (SOC). Monitor system health and proactively troubleshoot technical issues to minimize operational downtime. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring system failures. Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance site security. Drive technology enhancement initiatives and continuous improvement projects across sites. Engage with technology partners and vendors for product evaluation and solution assessments. Plan, coordinate, and evaluate PoC demonstrations and pilot deployments before large-scale implementation. Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers, technicians, and project teams. Manage project execution timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations. Coordinate with internal teams, IT, site management, and external vendors. Ensure projects are delivered within timelines, quality standards, and budgets. Maintain documentation, system configurations, technical specifications, and project records. Qualifications Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), or equivalent discipline. Preferred Certification CCNA Certification preferred. Experience 5–6 years of experience in security systems design and engineering. Security automation project implementation. System integration and networking. Team leadership and vendor management.
